Plot: Zeus and Billy Jean shared a crush in grade school. When Billy's mother died, she went to live with her "aunt" Jane in a different town. Two decades later, Billy and Zeus meet again, rekindling their old flame. They quickly become inseparable, inadvertently alienating Zeus's best friend Jimmy who gets further involved in some illegal activities. Following Zeus and Billy Jean's marriage, a violent home invasion leaves them both paralyzed in different ways. Their relationship rapidly deteriorates into silence and tension. Zeus becomes a virtual shut in, unwilling to face the world. Billy works double shifts as a waitress, numbing herself with booze just to get through the days.
